This tournament is open to all TBASA members in good standing with TBASA and their Regional Associations. International bowlers who have express an interest in bowling may only participate in the Gold division.
Entries will be accepted only if entry fee is paid and entry form is received by TBASA via the online portal at www.tenpinbowling.co.za.
Entry Fee: R 1 000 entry fee per bowler (Includes Round 1 and 2 game costs)
Payment of the final round can be made on the day – Final round cost: R210

Divisions: Gold – The gold division will be bowled as scratch and is open to bowlers as follows:
Men with a National average of 190 and above
Ladies with a National average of 175 and above
Age and gender bonuses will only be applied in this division
Silver – handicap division open to bowlers as follows:
Men with a National average of 189 and below
Ladies with a National average of 174 and below
Any bowler irrespective of average MAY bowl in any division . Handicaps may be adjusted after each round. Bowlers with less than 36 games on the National Average list must apply to TBASA for a handicap calculation.

The Tournament Director’s (TD) decision is final and he retains the right, as always, to amend the tournament accordingly
The format has been calculated using 24 Gold and 48 Silver entries. If entries differ, the TD retains the right, as always, to amend the format, handicaps and prize fund accordingly.
Prize giving: Prize giving will take place immediately after the final. Bowlers who do not attend the prize giving will forfeit their prize.
Points: This is a TBASA major tournament
Rules: World Bowling rules will apply. By entering this tournament, you agree to abide by TBASA’s code of conduct and are bound by TBASA’s constitution. Smoking is not permitted between games. This includes electronic cigarettes as per World Bowling rules.
